I had a good customer come in and wanted me to redesign her wedding set.  She said that her 40th anniversary was approaching and she wanted her wedding ring to look like it was worth it!  She told me she had been saving up and did not want to cut any corners,  she wanted this new ring to grab not only her attention but everyone else as well.  She said it might be the last nice piece of jewelry she would get for a long while and wanted it to really be something.  After some sketches and computer images,  and adding some more diamonds to it,  we had a design that she was excited about.  When she finally saw the finished product she was overjoyed!  She said she could not take her eyes off of it,  it was exactly what she had been hoping for.  It really makes me feel good to create something that means so much to someone!
