I know i have not posted all summer, it has been a crazy one, and i am sorry.
I have been voted in my son's boy scout troop as scoutmaster. So far so good, this past weekend, myself and three other adult leaders took 13 boys down to camp out at the gulf shores state park. When we got there the rain had stopped, so we set up camp in peroration to going to spend the afternoon at the beach! after camp got set up a "tropical storm came in and broke on EZ up, we were physically holding the larger on the ground, and it was flattening our tents. Some of the boys were skim boarding in camp! We decided to check the weather forecast again since this storm had lasted about an hour and a half like this. No good news, this was to be the weather for the rest of the night. We got what was still dry clothes into the bath house, put camp back into the scout trailer, changed into our dry clothes and headed back home. My first campout as Scoutmaster was all wet!, but everyone was safe.
