Sandy, Deatsville, AL I've known Josh for almost a decade now. I met him while looking for a jeweler that could repair a piece of jewelry that had already been "repaired" by another jeweler. I was very unhappy with the original repair and was looking for someone who would do the work on site and not send it off for someone else to do. I got the piece back and it was perfectly repaired; correcting the mess made by the first jeweler. Since then, I have used only Josh for anything I need repaired.
Recently I brought Josh a sizeable green amber pendant set in sterling silver with an anodized leaf near the bail. When I purchased the piece years ago (it was not purchased from Josh or Dylan Rings) I had not noticed that a large pea sized piece of amber had been chipped out and glued back in place. I had been so unhappy with the look that I just had not worn the amber in years. I took it to Josh and he decided that another leaf was what the piece needed. When I got the pendant back, he had hand made a silver leaf that perfectly covered the flaw. Not only that, but looking at the pendant there was no way to tell that the leaf had been added to the pendant. It fit in perfectly and looked like it was part of the original design. Josh is just amazing!
Over the years Josh has repaired jewelry for me; and made jewelry for me also. He is great at looking at a gem and coming up with a design that fits just right. He can use cast mountings or make them himself, it doesn't matter, things just come out great.
Josh also has a collection of loose stones that is incredible. I find he does the best work when I chose one of the loose stones and give him a basic idea of what I'd like, and then just turn him loose. He takes the time and effort to bring out the best qualities of the stone so when the piece is done, it is done to perfection. Repairs, custom designs, new mountings, it doesn't matter what you ask Josh to do, they are done diligently and with integrity. I can't say enough about Dylan's Rings. It may be a small store off of Atlanta Hiway but it has an enormous talent working inside of it.

A few years ago while visiting my daughter in Montgomery I broke the clasp on my favorite necklace. She directed me to Dylan Rings where they repaired the clasp. I now save any jewelry repairs and bring them to Dylan
Rings whenever I visit. The work is excellent and the prices reasonable. I find every person working at the store to be very knowledgeable. Prices on new pieces are also less than other jewelry stores.
Lorinda in Montgomery Testimonial: One of my prized possessions is a pair of earrings that my mother and grandmother brought back from Portugal in 1950. In the 70's I lost a very intricate portion to one. I have tried numerous times to try to have it duplicated. One very popular jeweler in town kept it over 2 years and returned a product to me that looked nothing like the original. Another well respected jeweler did not even feel up to attempting to duplicate it. But Josh did it!! He did such a good job that I have to take them off and look closely to tell which is which, I cannot tell by merely looking in the mirror. He was a joy to work with, patient, and with great attention to detail. I am thrilled with the result! And I had them back in a couple weeks. I couldn't be happier with Josh's work, and their service.

Cheryl - Wetumpka, AL My husband surprised me for Valentines Day by having Josh reset my original solitaire stone. My original stone was also purchased from Josh and now sits in a new band that contains diamonds on all sides. It was a wonderful surprise and I have received many many compliments on the new setting. Thanks Josh and Leslie!

My wedding ring is not extravagant, but it was my mothers--I didn't want to part with it. Josh was able to repair it while I waited and even resized a diamond band too! He took mediculous care of both pieces and his craftsmanship is impeccable! Highly recommended!
